RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech baseball team hits Sugarland, Texas in a three-game series at the Battle of the BallPark. Tech will take on Army, Creighton, and Air Force in a three-game event.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (8-0)
Tech is off to a 8-0 start for the first time since 2017 after two home series sweep against Northern Colorado and Kent State and a 13-4 road win against McNeese State.
The last time the Bulldogs had an eight-game win streak was in 2022. Tech ranks 11th in the nation in ERA, ranking number one in strike-to-walk ratio.
Sam Brodersen leads the team, currently in strikeouts with 11, followed by
Grant Hubka and
Turner Swistak with 10.
ABOUT AIR FORCE (4-4)
Air Force is 544 heading into Sugarland, playing some quality opponents such as Mississippi State, Southern Miss, and UNC-Wilmington. The Falcons are batting at .244 with 62 hits and 42 RBI. Air Force's bullpen has an ERA of 4.64 with 63 strikeouts and an opposing team batting average of .244.

THE SERIES
Louisiana Tech played Air Force for the first time last year, and both teams split the series. The last time Tech played Creighton was in 2012 when Creighton beat Louisiana Tech 3-1. Tech and Army have never played each other before.
