Bowling Picks Up Three Wins on Day Two

Smyrna, Tenn. – Louisiana Tech rolled a 4,946 to pick up three more wins on the second day of the Columbia 300 Music City Classic at the Smyrna Bowling Center.

The seventh-ranked Bulldogs remained in eighth with a total pinfall of 9,879.

The first two weeks have made March memorable for Allie Leiendecker. Graduating, helping Tech to a fourth straight USBC ITC Nationals, being named CUSA All-Academic, and then shooting a 1,121 to finish tied for fifth out of 218 bowlers at the Music City Classic.

Allie Leiendecker started with a 259 to guide LA Tech to a 975. However, that would not be enough as No. 3 Youngstown State rolled a 1,127. Patricia Rosales added a 192 for the Bulldogs.

LA Tech's score dropped in the second set for the second day. Unlike the previous day, the Bulldogs picked up a 937-922 win over Sacred Heart University. Abbie Leiendecker was the only bowler to break even with a 200.

The Bulldogs score jumped to a 985, but No. 4 Vanderbilt rolled a 1,063. Rosales started three consecutive games in the plus with a 236. Allie Leiendecker bounced back from her only game under with a 201.

Allie Leiendecker carried that momentum into a 235 against Lincoln Memorial. The Bulldogs picked up their second win with a 1,022, rolling four games over 200+. Abbie Leiendecker wasn't far behind her sister with a 229. Rosales shot 210, while Danielle Jedlicki had 207.

Rolling their highest set of the day, LA Tech took down Mount Aloysius, 1,027-702. Allie Leiendecker closed out her performance with a 238. Jedlicki was second on the team with a 214, while Rosales was right behind with a 213.
