The Louisiana Tech men's and women's track and field teams head back to Ruston after a successful competition for several athletes on the roster. Seven athletes set personal records, and six Bulldogs saw seven top-five finishes.
"I am happy with the results from today," head coach
Brian Johnson said. "We had some people that stayed consistent with their performances."
Friday's meet was highlighted by
Alyiah Eugene coming out in the first-place spot of the women's high jump with a mark of 1.73 meters. With her performance, she moves into a three-way tie for the sixth-best jump in indoor program history (Joy Loyd, 2004 & Celeste Rosett, 1996).
