The Bulldogs have shown some outstanding performances on the track this season, with the men having produced eight new top 10 indoor marks while the women have stamped in 13 new top-10 record times.

Sabastian Bradley-Reed broke his own school record in the 400, running 46.60 at the Tyson Invitational two weeks prior to the start of CUSA Indoor Championships. The Clinton, Mississippi native also helped with a record-setting performance in the 4x400 relay alongside Cullen Hronek, Rickey Williams III and Prentice Sanders at the Tyson Invitational.

The four-man squad posted a time of 3:09.16 at the Tyson Invitational, breaking the previous record time of 3:10.32 that was set by Bradley-Reed, Laeden Tucker, Valentino Rudolph and Tim Rummelhagen at the 2025 Tyson Invitational.

On the women's side, Jamara Patterson has seen two new program records to her name set during the 2026 indoor season. She holds the top spot for the fastest 400 and 600 times in indoor program history, with a time of 53.11 in the 400 and 1:32.96 in the 600.

Her time of 53.11 broke a program indoor record that held since 2007, when Nina Gilbert ran 53.19 at the WAC Indoor Championships in Boise, Idaho. Her time in the 600 broke a record by nearly five seconds that stood since 2016. Osaretin Joy Usenbor, Jenaia Williams and Nia Wiley round out the top four all-time 600 indoor times with all four athletes setting their new marks at the LSU Bayou Bengal on January 23.

The Bulldogs saw eight podium finishes at last year's CUSA Championships, including four gold medalists, three silver medalists and one bronze medalist.

Bradley-Reed and Usenbor were the men's and women's 400 champion with Patterson finishing as the runner-up in the women's 400. Both the men's and women's 4x400 relays were crowned CUSA Champions, and Cobe Johnson and Oscar Smith were runner-ups in the long jump and the 60-meter hurdles.

Tia Reder rounded out the podium finishes with a third-place finish and a bronze medal earned for her performance in the triple jump.
