LA Tech Tennis Unveils 2026 Schedule

The 21-match schedule features eight home contests

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech Tennis head coach Amy Sargeant announced Tuesday the Bulldogs 2026 spring slate, a competitive 21-match schedule that features eight home contests as well as five matchups against Conference USA opponents.

For the ninth consecutive season, LA Tech will open competition at the Hurricane Invite in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The weekend event on Jan. 17-18 will feature neutral-site matchups versus Omaha and Wyoming as well as host Tulsa.

The Bulldogs then come home Jan. 24 for a doubleheader against Southern Arkansas followed by the hosting of UL-Lafayette on Jan. 31.  LA Tech heads back out on the road, traveling to Starkville, Mississippi on Feb. 8 for a split-site doubleheader, facing Mississippi State followed by a neutral-site battle with Alabama State.

The road swing continues the following weekend with trips to North Texas (Feb. 14) and UT Arlington (Feb. 15).  The Bulldogs return to Ruston on Feb. 21 to host Stephen F. Austin before rounding out the month of February at UAB.

CUSA action begins in March with a three-match road stretch at Jacksonville State (March 1), Middle Tennessee (March 4), and Sam Houston (March 21).  LA Tech's lone home league match at home comes March 14 against Missouri State, followed by a non-conference showdown with Abilene Christian on March 15.

The Bulldogs then host Texas State on March 27 and Tarleton State on April 4 in the final homestand of the season.  LA Tech closes the regular season with a trip to Georgia State on April 11 and a conference tilt at Kennesaw State on April 12.

The 2026 CUSA Championship is set for April 15-18 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, hosted by Middle Tennessee.
