ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
Maria Tsironi and Lexie Patton will make the trip to Baton Rouge to compete in the main draw of the singles tournament.Â
Tsironi is seeded No. 32 and will compete against Indi Patel of LSU on Friday, Oct. 9 at 8:30 AM. The third year from Greece made it all the way to the Flight 4 finals of the Rice Fall Invitational last weekend before falling to Natalia Perez of Tulane in a closely contested matchup.Â
Patton is seeded No. 63 and will compete against Auburn's Ava Esposito on Friday, Oct. 9 at 10:00 AM. Patton won the consolation bracket of Flight 3 of the Rice Fall Invitational, defeating UTSA's Aakarai Tomoyose in dominant fashion.Â
Five Bulldogs will compete in the qualifying draw to open the event. Nina Skoric, Natalia Trigosso, Carolina Correia, Manal Ennaciri and Lucia Gallegos will need to win two matches to enter the main draw of the tournament.Â
Skoric will face Sara Erenda of Samford. Trigosso will face the winner of North Alabama's Rio Wakayama and Southern Miss' Mia Hisashi-Morrissey. Correia will face Laura Moreno of Nicholls. Ennaciri will face Louna Cormier of McNeese. Lastly, Gallegos will face Julia Caffarena of UAB. All matches will start Thursday morning.Â
On the doubles side of the tournament, Skoric and Correia will face off against Southern Miss' Gagana Mohan Kumar and Hishashi-Morrissey on Friday at 5 PM. Ennaciri and Gallegos will face off against the winners of McNeese and UL-Lafayette on Saturday at 9 AM. Tsironi and Trigosso will face the winners of South Alabama and UAB on Saturday at 9 AM.

Friday: 8 AM start, singles first round, singles round of 32, singles main draw consolation, doubles first round
Saturday: 9 AM start, Doubles round of 32, doubles round of 16, singles round of 16
Sunday: 10 AM start, Doubles quarterfinals, Singles quarterfinals, Doubles semifinals
Monday: 10 AM start, Singles semifinals, Doubles finals, Singles 3/4 match *if necessary*
