LA Tech Golf Adds Standout Reda El Hali

El Hali, a native of Rabat, Morocco, signs with Bulldogs out of Odessa College

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech golf head coach Matt Terry announced Friday the signing of Reda El Hali, an accomplished international player out of Odessa College, to the Bulldogs' signing class.

El Hali, a native of Rabat, Morocco, arrives in Ruston with an impressive resume, highlighted by a current No. 29 national NJCAA ranking, major team success at Odessa College, and strong international performances.  Odessa, currently ranked No. 2 nationally, has captured two team titles this season – the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite and The Poss High Country Shootout.

"Reda is terrific young player and student with loads of talent and international experience that has elevated his game in the last two years," Terry said.  "I am looking forward to getting him on campus and on the road to watch him continue to develop into a player that has a chance to play at the next level."

In the 2025-26 season, El Hali has recorded three top 20 finishes, including 15th at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite, 10th at the Folds of Honor Challenge, and seventh at the Andrews Collegiate Amateur, owning a 70.8 adjusted scoring average on the year.

"I chose Louisiana Tech because it's a place where I can grow as both a student and an athlete," said El Hali.  "The program, coaches, and environment give me the best opportunity to develop my game and compete at the highest level."

On the international stage, he recently made a professional cut on the Asian Tour (PIT International Saudi).  He also had a third place showing at the 2025 Pan Arab Championship.  El Hali has also been a key contributor for the Moroccan National Team, helping secure team titles at both the 2025 Throne Cup and the 2025 Pan Arab Championship.

El Hali will join previous signees Jack Morris and Wil Hindemit for the 2026–27 season.
