RUSTON – Louisiana Tech head bowling coach Matt Nantais announced the signing of Riley Emerson, a top-bowler from Campus High School in Wichita, Kansas, on Wednesday.
 
Emerson is coming off a stellar junior season in which she posted the top scoring average in Kansas at 214, helping Campus High School claim another Class 6A state title while also finishing third individually. She earned All-Metro Bowler of the Year honors and was named to the All-Metro girls team.
 
The Kansas native also finished seventh at the 2024 state tournament and helped Campus capture a state championship.
 
"We are very excited to welcome Riley to our team," stated Nantais. "She has put together an impressive high school career, excelling both on the lanes and in the classroom."
 
"Riley currently maintains a 190 average on sport conditions. Over the past few seasons, she has competed in six Youth Scratch Masters events, making the cut in all six and winning four of them. She was also the 2025 Kansas Pepsi Champion, averaging 225 for the tournament. During her high school season, Riley helped lead her team to back-to-back state championships and finished 6th and 3rd individually. In her junior year, she posted the highest average in the state at 214."

Emerson will join the Bulldogs roster in the fall of 2026.
