RUSTON – The National Tenpin Coaches Association released its December poll on Tuesday, and the Louisiana Tech bowling team is ranked fifth, jumping four spots from its No. 9 preseason ranking.

LA Tech received 1,612 points and is one of seven Conference USA teams in the top 10.

The Bulldogs competed in four NCAA events during its fall portion of play and recorded four top five finishes with a 38-14 record.

LA Tech picked up 22 ranked wins including four in the Destination Orlando Event, four at the Track Kat Klash, eight in the Bulldog Classic and six in the Colonial Lanes Classic.
