ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (12-6)
LA Tech is coming off a weekend sweep of conference matches against New Mexico State and Sam Houston. For the first time this spring, the Bulldogs were able to win despite dropping the doubles point, claiming a 4-2 victory over the Aggies. They followed that up the next day with a 4-0 shutout versus the Bearkats.

Ana Rodrigues was named CUSA Athlete of the Week after going 2-0 at the No. 1 position in the league wins. Down 0-3 in the third set, she stormed back to win it 7-5 and clinch the match against NM State. The senior captain then delivered a 6-1, 6-2 victory versus Sam Houston, extending her winning streak to seven matches.

Zoie Epps also went 2-0, improving to 16-2 on the spring. The sophomore has won her last five and eight of her last nine while playing at the No. 2 spot. Also providing points in singles were

Nina Skoric.

As a team, the Bulldogs are 53-32 in dual singles and 27-19 in dual doubles. Rodrigues and Epps have teamed up to win 10 matches, a team high.Â

ABOUT MEMPHIS (4-11)
Memphis has played an extremely hard schedule this spring, having played 10 opponents who are currently ranked on the top 75. The Tigers have found recent success including three straight wins over Harvard, 67th-ranked Wichita State, and 22nd-ranked Clemson.Â

Having been ranked as high as No. 73 in the country themselves, the Tigers nearly pulled off another ranked win but fell 4-3 in their previous match to the Rice Owls. They are a combined 30-44 in dual singles, led by Leonie Moeller who is 9-4 at the top position and has won five of her last six matches. She was an All-American Athletic Conference selection as a freshman last season.

In dual doubles, Memphis is a combined 17-20 having won the doubles point in four of its last five matches. The duo of Alice Amendola and Clemence Thouard have had the most success at the No. 3 spot.  Â

Friday will mark the 13th all-time meeting on the courts between LA Tech and Memphis with the Tigers holding a 10-2 advantage. This will be the first dual matchup between the two programs since 1992.

ABOUT TULANE (9-8)
Tulane had rattled off victories over New Orleans, 66th-ranked Princeton, and Nicholls before suffering back-to-back losses this past weekend to UAB and North Texas.

The Green Wave, who have been ranked as high as No. 61 in the country this spring, are a combined 35-36 in dual singles with Campbell Ricci owning a team-best 9-2 record at the No. 1 spot. The touted freshman has won nine straight.

In dual doubles, Tulane is a combined 21-11 with the duo of Ricci and Clemson transfer Leigh Van Zyl leading the Green Wave with an 8-3 record from the top position.Â

Sunday will mark the seventh all-time meeting between LA Tech and Tulane with the Green Wave having never lost to the Bulldogs, owning a 0-5-1 record. This will be the first dual match between the two programs since 2017.
