BRYAN, Texas – Louisiana Tech closed out the regular season on Sunday, finishing 12th at the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Club.

LA Tech was able to make a few more birdies in round three, but the Bulldogs could not avoid the big numbers for the second straight day.

Niilo Maki-Petaja finished as the top Bulldog at the event, tying for 49th after shooting 76-79-78=233 (+17). The sophomore had a quality start to his final round, shooting one under through the back nine with birdies on No. 12 and No. 15.

The top score for LA Tech in round three came from
Morton Bailey who shot 77 (+5). The freshman would climb seven spots on the player leaderboard Sunday, finishing 23 over par and in a tie for 61st.

Oskari Schuvalow (+8) and
Jake Plumb (+11) provided the other two countable scorecards for the Bulldogs.

LA Tech will make the short trek to Texarkana, Arkansas to take part in the 2025 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship. The event will take place April 21-24 at the Texarkana Country Club.
