RUSTON – The men's and women's Louisiana Tech cross country teams are set for their second competition of the 2025 season at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede in Lake Charles. The women begin their 5k race at 8:30 a.m. followed by the men running their 4-mile at 9 a.m.

TEAMS: McNeese, Louisiana Tech, Northwestern State, Houston Christian, Rice (women only)
Saturday's meet marks the third-straight year the Bulldogs travel to Lake Charles to compete in McNeese's home event. Last year the women finished fifth as a team with the men finishing in sixth.
The women's side finished fourth in the Demon Preview in Natchitoches while the men saw a fifth-place finish to open the 2025 season. The women saw four top-30 finishes, while freshman
Brayden Vining finished 25th to lead the men in his first collegiate meet.
