The Bulldogs head to Texas to face the Mavericks and Mean Green

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (3-2)
LA Tech is back in action following a split this past weekend, picking up a 4-0 shutout win against Bellarmine followed by a 6-1 loss at Mississippi State. 
 
The Bulldogs are a combined 14-13 in dual singles this spring, led by Zoie Epps, June Vigneron, and Isabella Walker who each have three wins.  LA Tech has been strong at the bottom of the lineup, going a combined 7-2 on courts five and six.
 
In dual doubles, the 'Dogs are a combined 8-6.  Epps and Walker teamed up to claim the highest ranked win in program history, defeating Mississippi State's 9th-ranked doubles tandem at the No. 1 spot.  As a result, the duo earned their second CUSA Doubles Team of the Week honor.
 
ABOUT UT ARLINGTON (2-4)
UT Arlington picked up its first two wins of the season this past week, defeating UT Dallas and Lubbock Christian before falling 7-0 to SMU. 
 
The Mavericks are a combined 8-16 in dual singles with four different players owning two victories apiece.  Meanwhile, UTA is a combined 2-11 in dual doubles.
 
LA Tech leads the all-time series against UTA, 4-3.  The last meeting between the two programs took place in 2014 with the Bulldogs prevailing, 4-2.
 
ABOUT NORTH TEXAS (3-3)
North Texas reeled off three straight wins against Northwestern State, Incarnate Word, and Stephen F. Austin before falling 4-0 to TCU last weekend.
 
The Mean Green are a combined 14-13 in dual doubles, having gone 6-2 at the top two spots.  Carolina Laydner plays at the No. 1 position and is 3-1 this spring.  In dual doubles, UNT is a combined 6-8.
 
North Texas leads the all-time series, 14-3.  The Bulldogs snapped a 13-match losing streak to the Mean Green last season, winning 4-3 in Ruston.
