FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Louisiana Tech men's and women's track and field teams head back to Fayetteville for the Woo Pig Classic at the Randal Tyson Track Center on Friday, February 7.

The Bulldogs return to action after an off week following another series of standout performances at the LSU Bayou Bengal on January 23, where they saw three individual first-place outcomes along with 11 total top-five finishes.
Cobe Johnson (long jump),
Katie Langford (800m) and
Tia Reder (triple jump) secured victories in their respective events in Baton Rouge.
Four athletes currently reside among the top 10 in the men's 60m.
Madonna Favour currently holds the fourth-fastest time in CUSA at 6.75, followed by
Lukundo Kapambalala and
Karo Oghomi in a tie for fifth with a time of 6.79. Carl Murray IV rounds out the top 10 for the Bulldogs in the event sitting in eighth at 6.84.
Tyrica Sterrett has the third-fastest time in the women's 60m entering the weekend at 7.49, and
Rickey Williams III sits third in the men's 400 with his time of 47.54 from the season-opening meet at the Arkansas Invitational.
Jamara Patterson holds the top spot in the women's 400 at 53.96, which also ranks 67th in NCAA Division I.
Patterson, along with
Osaretin Joy Usenbor,
Nia Wiley and
Jenaia Williams, hold the best time in the women's 4x400m relay at 3:39.77 and rank 65th in the country in the event.
A'reil Williams is fourth in the women's high jump at 1.74m and is 84th nationally. Johnson, Reder and
Kaitlyn Washington (shot put and weight throw) hold spots in the CUSA's top 10 list prior to Saturday's meet.
Saturday's meet marks the second time this season the Bulldogs travel to Fayetteville for competition and the first of back-to-back weekends performing at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
