LA Tech extended its winning streak to five in a row this past weekend, defeating both UAB and Jacksonville State on the road by scores of 4-1. The Bulldogs have now won seven of their last eight matches.

The team was stellar in singles, combining to go 7-1 versus the Blazers and Gamecocks. For the spring, LA Tech is a combined 36-17 in dual singles with
Zoie Epps leading the charge at 8-1 from the No. 1 spot. The junior has won five straight, all via straight sets.

Diana Starodubtseva and
Isabella Walker are each riding a four-match singles winning streak. Starodubtseva provided a point in the win over Jax State while Walker tallied a point at UAB.

In dual doubles, the Bulldogs are a combined 15-10, having claimed the doubles point in six of their 10 matches. The duo of
Maria Tsironi and
Alice Brook have won a team-high six matches, including three in a row. Meanwhile, the pairing of Epps and Walker continue to be nationally ranking, checking in at No. 70 in this week's ITA poll.

ABOUT MIDDLE TENNESSEE (2-6, 0-0 CUSA)
Middle Tennessee has faced a challenging schedule thus far, dropping matches to top 15 ranked Vanderbilt and Auburn as part of a six-match losing streak. The Blue Raiders snapped that losing skid this past Saturday with a 7-0 shutout victory against Bellarmine.

MTSU, led by eighth-year head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall, is a combined 16-32 in dual singles. Junior Lena Peyer has played at the top position in every match so far this spring, tallying a 2-5 record.Â

In dual doubles, the Blue Raiders are a combined 9-13. The pairing of Sthefany Lima and Rutuja Chaphalkar own a team-best 5-2 record, playing primarily at the No. 2 position.Â
