Preview: LA Tech at Music City Classic

No. 5 Bulldogs set for final NCAA event of regular season

RUSTON – The No. 5 Louisiana Tech bowling team is set for its final NCAA tournament of the regular season as the Bulldogs travel to the Nashville area to compete in the Music City Classic, hosted by Vanderbilt, March 6–8.

Format: Friday: Five 5 game baker
                Saturday: Five traditional games
                Sunday: Three best 4-of-7 baker matches

LA Tech enters the weekend with a 62-29 mark. Tech has posted 31 ranked wis this season along with five top five finishes.
 
The Bulldogs last competed in the Big Red Invite in late February where they finished in sixth place with an 8-5 record where they recorded six ranked wins. 
 
Tech tallied a total pinfall of 13,604 in the three-day event. Kylee Trexler was the top finisher for LA Tech in traditional play, logging a seventh-place finish with a 1,310 (226, 195, 212, 204, 225, 248).
