SMYRNA, Tenn. – The No. 5 Louisiana Tech bowling team opened day one of the Music City Invite with a 4-1 mark after rolling a 4,977. The Bulldogs sit in eighth place out of 33 teams after today's five baker matches.
Tech started the day with back-to-back wins, taking down No. 4 Wichita State 993-965. The Bulldogs moved to 2-0 after earning a 1,053-818 over Quincy University.
The Bulldogs fell to No. 1 Jacksonville State 1,141-994 in their only loss of the day. LA Tech earned bounced back victories with wins over Alabama A&M (1,064-908) and Carroll University (874-835).
