The Bulldogs outdoor season has been successful in many areas with outstanding performances from multiple athletes.

Jamara Patterson has been unreal in 2026, breaking the 20 year old program record in the 400 times three times this outdoor season. Patterson has run times of 51.56. 51.74 and 51.82, all top three in program history. The junior from Grenada won the Indoor CUSA Championship 400m this past February with a time of 52.66.

Oscar Smith has won two 110m hurdles events this outdoor season, placing a top four finish five times. In the Jim Mize Invitational, Smith was .01 seconds away from setting the meet record, running a season best 13.50 dash.

A'reil Williams has placed first in the high jump three times this outdoor season, jumping an outdoor season best 1.75 in Baton Rouge during the LSU Opener. Williams won the Indoor CUSA Championship this past February with a 1.77m leap.

Karo Oghomi won two 100m sprints this outdoor season, placing top three in four. Oghomi smashed the 100m facility record in the Jim Mize Invitational, running a career best 10.15, also running a career best 20.61 200m in the same meet.

Kaitlyn Washington has won three meets this season in the discus, tossing a career best 53.53m at the Clyde Hart Classic in Waco late March.

Tyhra Charles, Patterson,
Nia Wiley, Osaretin Usenbor will compete in the 4x400m relay, winning twice this outdoor season as a pairing. In the Pepsi Florida Relays, they ran a blistering 3:30.13, the second fastest time in program history, winning the event.
