Louisiana Tech volleyball gets set to host the Bulldog Bash this week in the Thomas Assembly Center, hosting Mississippi Valley State, Northwestern State, Grambling, ULM, and McNeese. The event will feature five matches total over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (4-3, SBC)
The Bulldogs are fresh off a 3-0 victory over Alcorn State in the TAC Tuesday night, improving their home record to 3-1 on the season. Tyra McKinnie and Taylor Woods bolstered the offensive attack, leading the team with nine kills each, with McKinnie hitting at an incredibly efficient .750 percentage.
That mark was the first time this season that a Bulldog hit at least .700 or greater with at least 10 attempts. McKinnie did so with no errors.
Riley Steubing continues to be one of the best liberos in the country, leading the Sun Belt in digs/set at 5.25, the seventh most in NCAA. Steubing sits at 960 career digs, 40 shy of becoming only the third Bulldog in the last 20 years to join the 1,000 club.
Woods and McKinnie lead the squad in kills per set at 2.63 and 2.17, respectively. Woods has led the team in kills five times this season as a freshman, hitting at a .236 clip. McKinnie also fortifies the net, leading the team with 17 total blocks.
Emerson Traylor and Sydnee Carter have been a dynamic duo distributing the ball for the Bulldogs. Carter has assisted in the double figures every game this season while Traylor has only missed one. Both are also incredibly efficient at mixing in attacks, with both registering 10 kills each at over .400 hitting.
ABOUT GRAMBLING STATE (2-3, SWAC)
The Tigers enter Ruston after falling 3-0 to Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Monday.
Lyric Jordan leads the team with 2.55 kills/set, while the duo of Reece Cook and Alayna Howard lead the team with 3.60 assists/set each.
ABOUT MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE (1-4, SWAC)
The Delta Devils are coming off a 1-1 weekend, winning against Wiley and losing against Nicholls in the Mississippi Valley State Tri-Match.
Taylor Wooten leads the offense with 2.00 kills/set while Erin Mims is the lead distributor with 4.88 assists per set.
ABOUT MCNEESE (0-6, SLC)
The Cowgirls come to the TAC on a six-game losing streak, losing to both Rice and Illinois at the Rice Invitational.
