A native of Wilmette, Illinois, Sadie Martin enters her fourth year at Louisiana Tech, first as the associate athletic trainer working with the Lady Techster soccer team. She previously worked with the Louisiana Tech cross country and track and field teams. Sadie is also the sports medicine department’s mental health coordinator.Â

Prior to joining the Tech family, Sadie worked as an athletic trainer at Seattle-area high schools as well as a high school in Tallahassee, FL. Prior to those positions, Sadie was the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the cross country and track and field teams at Tulane University in New Orleans.Â
Sadie earned her B.S. in Athletic Training from Marquette in 2011 and Master’s in Public Health from Tulane in 2015.Â

In addition to her CPR/AED, FAT tool, and Blood Flow Restriction certifications, Sadie is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper. She is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Louisiana and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.Â

Sadie lives with her husband, Matt, and their yellow lab, Oakley, in Ruston.
