Fall Schedule

RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech softball team will be competing in two tournaments and hosting a home doubleheader during its fall exhibition schedule released by head coach Sarah Dawson Wednesday.

The Lady Techsters open the fall season Sept. 24 when they travel to Lake Charles to play three games at the McNeese Tournament. Tech faces Baton Rouge Community College (noon), Alvin Community College (4 p.m.) and Lamar State Community College (6 p.m.).

Tech's only home exhibition games will come on Sept. 28 when they host Bossier Parish Community College in a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. at the newly-renovated Lady Techster Softball Complex.

The Lady Techsters will wrap up the fall season Oct. 15 when they travel to Natchitoches to face LSU-Eunice (12:30 p.m.) and Northwestern State (3:30 p.m.).

Tech returns six starters and 12 letter winners from last year's team while it welcomes eight newcomers to the roster, including five freshman and three junior college transfers.
