RUSTON - Louisiana Tech has postponed its softball doubleheader against McNeese State which was set for Tuesday due to the forecast that is calling for heavy thunderstorms across north Louisiana.

The Lady Techsters and Cowgirls will reschedule the doubleheader for late April or early May. Tech swept a doubleheader from Texas-Arlington Saturday, defeating the Mavs 2-1 and 8-0.

LA Tech will open Western Athletic Conference play this weekend when it hosts Utah State Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.
