Camp Registration

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech coach Mark Montgomery announced that the Lady Techster Softball Winter Clinic will be Dec. 13 at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.

The Winter Clinic is for girls in grades 7 through 12 and will include a hitting (10 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.) and defensive clinic (2 - 4:30 p.m.). Cost of the camp is $70 for one session (either hitting or defense) or $120 for the entire clinic. Campers will be grouped by age/skill level. Lunch is not provided.

The clinic will be staffed by all Louisiana Tech softball coaches and players with a hands-on approach to the campers. The hitting session will include basic fundamentals as well as advanced skill instruction.

The defense portion of the camp will be led by all other coaches and players teaching the fundamentals of infield and outfield. Any camper who chooses pitcher as their primary position is responsible for bringing someone to catch for them.

Each camper must bring their own softball equipment. Campers should bring a glove, bat, helmet, tennis shoes, cleats and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.
