- Louisiana Tech earned its first sweep since joining Conference USA and the program's first sweep in conference play since May 4-6, 2012 when the Bulldogs took three games over fellow WAC opponent San Jose State in Ruston.

- LA Tech has now won four straight and 13 of its last 15 games heading into the last eight games of the regular season.

- With the win today, the Bulldogs improved to 15-9 in Conference USA, which is the most conference wins in a season since 1997 when LA Tech was 15-12 in the Sun Belt.

- LA Tech's 19-5 record at home marks the team's best home winning percentage (.791) since 1992 when the Bulldogs were 20-3 (.869) at J.C. Love Field.

- The Bulldogs have now won five straight Conference USA series and eight series overall during the 2016 season. LA Tech has yet to lose a home series in 2016.
