DALLAS, Texas – The No. 5 Louisiana Tech women's bowling team finished fourth with 6,738 total pins at the Lady Techsters Classic in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, as the remainder of the tournament was canceled due to weather.
Â
"It was disappointing our tournament ended so early because of weather conditions," head coach
Matt Nantais said. "Although it was an abrupt ending, we were able to still get a great senior day for Ashley and Kaitlyn. We ended the tournament with a 3-4 record. It was not our best showing, but, as a team, we never gave up. We struggled with keeping up with the transition and filling in the 10th frame which are both things we need to work on in order to succeed at our next tournament."
Â
The shortened Lady Techsters Classic consisted of seven traditional matches with the tournament champion being determined by the total pin count.
