RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech Women's Bowling team enters the 2023-24 season ranked No. 10 announced by the National Tenpin Coaches Association on Sunday.

LA Tech looks to make a fourth straight NCAA tournament appearance. The Bulldogs begin the season on Oct. 7 at the SWIBC tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, an event they won last season.

All-Americans
Allie Leiendecker and
Danielle Jedlicki return to anchor the lineup for Tech. Also returning for the Bulldogs are
Patricia Rosales, team leader in spare conversion, and
Allyson Sand, who qualified for the 2023 USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship.

LA Tech added three talented freshmen in
Abbie Leiendecker,
Annalise O'Bryant, and
Kylee Trexler.
Abbie Leiendecker is coming off a summer in which she won the Teen Masters. As part of Junior Team USA, O'Bryant captured four medals at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. Trexler comes to Ruston with her titles in the 2022 Indiana All-State Champion and Bowler of the Year.

Conference USA is well represented in the Top 25 with eight of the nine members. Defending national champion Vanderbilt came in at No. 1. Arkansas State was No. 2, followed by Stephen F. Austin at No. 5, Youngstown State at No. 6, Jacksonville State at No. 7, Sam Houston at No. 8, and Tulane at No. 21.
