RUSTON – The Louisiana Tech men's and women's cross-country teams travel to Clinton, Miss., on Oct. 13 for the Watson Collegiate Classic hosted by Mississippi College.

The Bulldogs last competed at the Mook 4 Invitational at Tech Farm, where the women finished second, and the men finished third.
The men will kick things off with the 8K starting at 7:30 a.m. CT. Jayce Wimbish earned Conference USA Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after finishing 12th at 25:11.58. Dillon Moree and Evan Taylor finished inside the top 20 with times of 25:20.06 and 25:41.18, respectively.
The women will run a 6K for the first time this season. Rebecca Quebedeaux made a sweep in the CUSA Athlete of the Week honors with her third straight personal best of 19:24.22 and the second consecutive time finishing the 5K in under 20 minutes. Lexa Thompson, Victoria Datta, Selah Keene, and Brooke Fontenot set personal bests on their way to nine through 12thg-place finished. Thompson crossed at 20:07.26, with Datta right behind at 20:08.31. Keene and Fontenot rounded out the scoring with times of 20:08.64 and 20:13.00, respectively.
