HARAHAN, La. — Louisiana Tech went 4-1 to open the Colonial Lanes Classic at Colonial Lanes on Friday. The seventh-ranked Bulldogs are in 10th with a 4,714 total.

LA Tech opened the day with their only loss against Newman 955-914. The Bulldogs would rebound against No. 11 Stephen F. Austin, a team they have struggled with this season. Tech beat the Ladyjacks 974-949.

The Bulldogs didn't shoot over 960 the rest of the day but came away with three more wins. Tech took down Emmanuel 951-858, Alabama State 960-865, and Prairie View A&M 915-895.

UP NEXT
The tournament will continue tomorrow with five traditional team games. LA Tech will open with UAB before taking on No. 24 Oklahoma Christian, Alabama A&M, No. 8 Sam Houston, and No. 17 Wichita State.
