HOUSTON - The No. 9 Louisiana Tech bowling team rolled to a 5-0 record Saturday, including two ranked wins, on day two of the Track Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston.

The Bulldogs played five traditional games and shot a 4,953 for their total pinfall. Tech started the day with a 1,009-891 win over Texas Southern before defeating Southern 1,016-882.

LA Tech took on No. 16 Maryland Eastern Shore in game three and won 972-904. Tech followed that up with a 972-964 win over the host, No. 8 Sam Houston. The Bulldogs capped their day with a 984-764 win over Alabama State to finish 5-0.

The Bulldogs are in second place after two days with a total pinfall of 9,743. Tech leads the field with a 9-1 record, but trails No. 5 Wichita (4,841).

Paulina Avalos is in fourth with a 1,036 followed by Juliana Kerrigan who is in eighth with a 1,013.  

LA Tech will close out the Track Kat Klash with three baker matches followed by bracket play.
