ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (73-41)
Louisiana Tech had a second-place finish at the Bulldog Classic last time out. Rachel Ong and Paulina Avalos led the way with All-Tournament honors. Ong finished with a 1,026 for a 205.2 average to finish third. Avalos was fifth with a 1,003 for a 200.6 average.

Ong has been one of the best spare shooters in the country this season. The sophomore's 87.6 fill percentage is 15th best in the nation. Ong also boasts the sixth-best spare conversion rate at 77.0 percent while leaving a split only 6.0 percent of the time, the third lowest in the country.

Avalos found success playing two different areas on the lane on the low-scoring pattern. Starting up the outside, Avalos moved in and stayed consistent throughout the individual portion of the schedule. Avalos anchored the Bulldog lineup at the beginning of bracket play to help get Tech into the championships match.

After suffering an injury on the opening day of the Bulldog Classic, Kylee Trexler looks to return to give LA Tech one of the best leadoff bowlers in the country. The left-hander strikes 50.6 percent of the time in the first frame, the fifth-best in the nation.

Another sophomore in the Tech lineup, Abbie Leiendecker, has the sixth-best 10th-frame double percentage at 31.3 percent.
