RUSTON – The No. 5 Louisiana Tech bowling team resumes its season this weekend as the Bulldogs travel to New Castle, Del., to compete in the Northeast Classic, the first of three consecutive tournaments to open the spring season.
 
The event will consist of 36 teams, 19 of which are ranked in the top 25.

The Bulldogs finished their fall slate with a 38-14 mark including 22 ranked wins, with wins over No. 1 Jacksonville State, No. 2 Nebraska (three times), No. 3 Vanderbilt, and No. 4 Youngstown State (twice). Tech also defeated No. 5 Wichita State three times.
