ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (7-11, 0-4 SBC)
Louisiana Tech is coming off a 0-2 weekend against South Alabama in the Jag Gym. The Bulldogs were swept 3-0 in Friday nights match, but fought hard against the Golden Eagles Saturday, losing 3-1. Taylor Woods led the team in kills both matches, adding three blocks in Saturday's loss.
Taylor Woods and Tyra McKinnie are in the running to become the first Bulldog to lead the team in kills as a true freshman since Courtney Ziegenbein in 1994, 32 years ago. Woods leads the team with 155 kills with McKinnie close behind with 138.
Four Bulldogs have 100 kills on the season, with three of them being true freshmen. Taylor Woods* (155), Tyra McKinnie* (138), Gabrielle Hairston (118) and Kylie Rodriguez* (101) are the team leaders.
Riley Steubing ranks 23rd in the nation in digs/set at 4.64, the second most in the Sun Belt.Â
Louisiana Tech assistant coach Cami Hicks played for the Ragin' Cajuns from 2020-24, appearing in 480 sets and tallying 487 blocks, the career record for the program.
ABOUT UL-LAFAYETTE (7-10, 2-2 SBC)
The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off series splits against SBC West frontrunners Troy and Arkansas State.
UL-Lafayette rank ninth nationally in total blocks with 163, led by Emily Williams who is 18th in the nation with 78 total blocks.
Sarah Schnell leads the Ragin' Cajuns with 174 kills, the most in a season in her career.
Setter Rhyan Miciotta recorded seven double-doubles in September, notching double figure digs and assists.

ULL leads the series 22-12, winning the last match 21 years ago in a five set thriller in the Thomas Assembly Center.
