RUSTON – Louisiana Tech softball returns home this weekend after a five-game road trip to host Missouri State in Conference USA play at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. The Bulldogs and Bears will play Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Bulldogs and Bears have met 17 times on the diamond with LA Tech holding an 11-6 series advantage. LA Tech and MSU played four games in Ruston in 2024 with the Bulldogs winning the series 3-1.
ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
The Bulldogs moved to 17-15 (3-6 CUSA) after capping their five-game road trip with a 9-0 loss at LSU on Tuesday night in five innings. LA Tech did not record a road win during the stretch, falling to Ole Miss last Wednesday and being swept by Jacksonville State over the weekend.
Bradi Gallaway and
Allie Furr were the lone Bulldogs to record hits against the Tigers. Furr ranks second on the team with 33 hits while Gallaway is third with 31.
Elena Heng leads the team with 42 hits after collecting four in the series against Jax State, including the 100th of her career.
Reagan Marchant continues to pace the Bulldogs in RBI (28) and home runs (9). Gallaway ranks second in both categories with 27 RBI and seven home runs.
Allie Floyd is 7-8 in the circle and last appeared in the series against Jax State where she tossed two complete games. Floyd has a team-best 2.57 ERA and leads the pitching staff in innings pitched (92.2) and strikeouts (76).
Laney Johnson (4-2) suffered her second loss of the season against LSU. Johnson is second in the team in innings pitched with 49.2 innings under her belt.
Bryannah Campos tossed 2.2 innings against LSU and only allowed two hits. The freshman has a 4.69 ERA with a 4-3 record along with 24 strikeouts.
ABOUT MISSOURI STATE
Missouri State enters the weekend with a 14-15 overall record and a 3-6 mark in CUSA play. The Bears have picked up league wins over Kennesaw State, where they recorded an 8-0 run-rule win and a 4-1 victory, as well as a 6-5 road win at Delaware. The Bears were swept on the road at Western Kentucky to open conference play and dropped two of three games at Delaware last weekend, including a 5-2 loss in the series finale.
Riley Baber leads MSU at the plate with .351 average including 10 doubles and four home runs. Lauren Rowland has driven in a team-high 19 runs, while Bryann Romine leads the team with 27 hits. Barber leads the Bears with four home runs.
In the circle, Emily Koranda (7-7) has been the most reliable arm, posting a 2.54 ERA with 69 strikeouts over 85.1 innings, all of which lead the team. Makenzi Swick (3-3) has added depth with a 4.60 ERA across 35.0 innings of action.
