RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech will host the 2008 Louisiana Tech/Squire Creek Intercollegiate Golf Classic Sunday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m.

The field will consist of 24 four-person teams playing in a scramble format. Each team will be joined by two college golfers representing the sixteen teams entered in the Golf Classic.

The entry fee is $200 per player and $800 per team. All proceeds will go to benefit the Louisiana Tech golf program.

Checks should be made to the Louisiana Tech Foundation: ATT: Golf Program. The entry fee is also tax deductible.

Each player in the tournament will receive a Louisiana Tech golf gift, supper after the tournament and a chance to play for flight prizes.
