MOBILE, Ala. -- Louisiana Tech's golf squad will head to east to the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate Sunday, March 22, for the three-day, 54-hole tournament hosted by the University of South Alabama.
The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,239-yard Magnolia Grove Falls Golf Course and will consist of 15 teams besides the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs last competed two weeks ago at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, La., where they played 11th overall. Junior Matthew Harvey had Tech's best finish shooting 218 in three rounds to finish 19th individually.
Louisville won last years MBI with a team total of 873, while the Cardinals' Adam Rainaud took first place with a 215 total.
Tee off is set for 7:30 a.m. Sunday and Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shot gun start scheduled for Tuesday.
