March 25, 2015 RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech junior Victor Lange continues to move up in the national rankings as he vaulted four spots to No. 47 following his 10-under-par performance at the Wallace Jones Invitational in Delhi.
Lange is the highest ranked golfer in Conference USA with UAB's Martin Rohwer following at No. 69. The updated rankings were released by GolfStat.com Wednesday afternoon.
A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Lange has carded an average round of 71.0 this season in 24 rounds through eight tournaments, recording four finishes in the top five including three times as the runner-up.
This season Lange is 5-5 against golfers ranked in the top 50 this season and 15-10 against golfers in the top 100. He is 3-4 against individuals ranked in the top 25.
Lange recently recorded a 10-under-par 206 at the Wallace Jones Invitational, the second-best 54-hole tournament score in school history. He carded three consecutive rounds under par in the tournament as his three-round score of 67-70-69 at the par-72 Black Bear Golf Course in Delhi placed him second overall.
Louisiana Tech returns to action on March 30-31 when the Bulldogs head up to Chenal Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas for the UALR/First Tee Classic.
