Lange remained the highest-ranked golfer in Conference USA, ranked 28 spots ahead of UAB's Martin Rohwer.
The Louisiana Tech junior recently finished tied for 13th at the Conference USA Championship, finishing the 54-hole tournament at 3-over-par.
Wednesday's ranking release by GolfStat.com is the final rankings release before the NCAA Postseason Selection Show on Monday when Lange is expected to be selected as an at-large individual selection for the NCAA Regionals.
The 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships selections will be announced live via the Golf Channel Monday, May 4 during Morning Drive. Additionally, the show will be streamed live on the Golf Channel website and posted afterwards on the NCAA website at www.ncaa.com.
Last season Lange became the first golfer in Louisiana Tech history to receive a bid to compete at the NCAA Regionals. He was sent to the San Antonio Regional where he registered a top-25 finish, carding 4-over-par over the 54-hole tournament. Lange received an at-large bid last season after ranking 171st in the nation following the Conference USA Championship.
Lange could get sent to any of the six NCAA Regional sites across the country. This year's regional hosts include The Course at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut (Yale), the Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Indinana (Ball State), UNC's Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (North Carolina), the Farms Golf Club in San Diego, California (UC San Diego), the Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas (Texas Tech) and the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington (Washington).
A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Lange has recorded a 71.42 average this season a year after setting a new Louisiana Tech school record with a 72.8 average last season. The Louisiana collegiate record for a low season average was 71.27 set by David Toms at LSU in 1989.
Earlier this season Lange tied a Louisiana Tech and Louisiana collegiate record for a low 18-hole round by firing a 62 in the third round of the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant. That matched the 62 carded by Louisiana Tech's Roy Pace in 1962 at the Louisiana Tech Invitational in Ruston.
