TEXARKANA, Ark. - Louisiana Tech held leads in three of the five matches in the Conference USA Championship semifinal match play round when darkness halted play Tuesday evening. Play is slated to resume at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Texarkana Country Club.

The second-seeded Bulldogs had trailed throughout most of the matches against No. 3 seed North Texas with only Luke Neeley holding a lead or staying all square throughout the match. But then an impressive run by Victor Lange in which he won three holes in four tries over Ian Snyman swung him from 2 down to 1 up quickly. Lange, the senior who carded a 7-under-par 65 earlier in the day to force a playoff with UAB's Taylor Eyster, finished thru 17 with one hole to play.

The other comeback story for Louisiana Tech was Ben Robinson. The senior from England was 2 down thru 7 to Cory Churchman before pulling all square thru 14. After remaining all square over the next hole, Robinson won hole 16 to go one up thru 16 with two to play.

Neeley remained all square thru three holes against Alejandro Villasana before going 1 up. He would hold that lead before darkness halted the match leaving the redshirt sophomore Bulldog 2 up thru 14 with four to play.

Chuck Spears was 3 down thru 15 with three to play against Michael Cotton after standing at all square after nine.

In the other semifinal match, No. 1 seed UAB defeated No. 4 seed UAB, 5-0, in all five matches. The Blazers await the winner of the Louisiana Tech-North Texas match in the Conference USA Championship match play final which will begin approximately one hour after the conclusion of Louisiana Tech's semifinal match.
