EUGENE, Ore. - Louisiana Tech golfer Victor Lange was honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Sunday as he was named to the PING All-Central Region Team for the second consecutive year.

Lange was the only Conference USA golfer to receive PING All-Region honors and was one of just five golfers from Louisiana to receive all-region accolades. In all the GCAA recognized a total of 156 golfers across six regions.

A native of South Africa, Lange received his degree last weekend from Louisiana Tech University after posting a 72.39 season average over 11 tournaments and 33 total rounds. He recorded a low round score of 7-under-par 65 twice over his senior season, both times coming in postseason play. The first 7-under round came in the final round of stroke play at the Conference USA Championship as he helped lead the Bulldogs to their first league title since 1980 while his second 7-under round came in his final round of collegiate golf at the NCAA Tucson Regional.

Lange finishes his career with a 72.64 stroke average in 46 events and 137 rounds of golf over his four years in Ruston.

He is currently in the process of applying for his visa to remain in the United States in order to pursue a professional golf career.
