ABOUT RICE (4-6-0, 2-0-0 C-USA)
Rice comes into Ruston with only two Conference USA matches under their belts after an off day this past Thursday. The Owls have a 1-3 mark on the road this season.
The Conference USA preseason No. 1 has picked up six quick points in the C-USA standings with two wins over UTSA (2-1) in San Antonio and FIU (3-0) at home.
Rice's non-conference slate saw just two wins in eight matches but faced a difficult slate featuring the likes of power five Houston and top-25 ranked SMU (No. 23) and Florida State (No. 8). Their two non-conference wins both came in Houston over Incarnate Word (5-2) and Houston Baptist (1-0).
The Owls are led in points by graduate forward Grace Collins, who has netted nine points off on goal and seven assists. Collins leads a balanced offensive attack featuring four multi-goal scorers, including senior goalkeeper Bella Killgore who leads the team with three. Killgore also leads the team with 21 shots and 13 on goal.
