"I felt like it was a solid week for Victor. Each day presented a challenge as we expected. He should be pleased but not happy as I know he wanted to advance to the NCAA Championships. But it was a very good week and gave him great experience."

"Today he played a solid round and was one-under-par after nine holes. I don't believe he missed a green before the turn."

"The wind was pumping on the front nine, which was the back nine for Victor has he started on hole 10 today. Especially the last seven holes, it was really whipping. He certainly had a challenging draw, teeing off late and battling the afternoon winds. For nearly the last two hours of his round he was playing in at least 35 mile per hour winds. Despite those conditions, he played a solid round."

On hole 6:

"There were probably two shots all day he wasn't happy with and one of them was on hole 6. He hit it short of the green and the wind was pumping from left to right, which made it a tough chip shot."

On Lange's finish:

"Victor almost had a birdie on hole 8. He hit a great shot off the tee and then his putt ran right across the hole."

On Victor's mindset after the week:

"He is disappointed not to advance but understands that he had a very clean week. He had a ton of good shots this week that didn't go perfectly and with only one individual advancing, they almost all have to be perfect."

 

Junior Victor Lange

"I had a pretty solid round. I felt that I had a good first 12 holes but I played the par-3s at plus-six the last two rounds."

"The par-3s are what got me. I feel like I played well enough to finish high on the leaderboard other than that."

On Hole 17:

"I feel like 17 is a very score-able hole. I hit a nice tee shot and almost chipped it in for eagle again."

On his finish:

"I am never going to be happy to be tied for 22^nd. I am slightly disappointed but it was a good week overall and good experience for me. It just proved again that I can play with some of the best golfers in the country. It definitely was a positive week."
