Bulldog Soccer Signs Seven

Head coach Steve Voltz will welcome in seven new Bulldogs for the 2025 season

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech Soccer head coach Steve Voltz announced Thursday the signing of seven new Bulldogs who will join the program in 2025.

The seven incoming freshman that inked with LA Tech include Abby Hanton (forward/wing), Alexe Drolet (center back), Ansley Ittel (goalkeeper), Avery Jacobs (outside back/wing), Charlotte Woodward (forward), Peyton Wiseman (forward), and Reagan Roberts (forward).

"These new Bulldogs have an opportunity to become immediate impact players, after we graduated a large class," said Voltz.  "We got better all over the field and we look forward to that group contributing immediately on and off the field. Most importantly, they're not only a very talented group, but incredible young people that will make LA Tech and our program proud. They embrace that challenge and opportunity in front of them."

Hanton is a two-time regional champion and 2024 Class 4A state runner-up at Park City High School in Park City, Utah.  She is a two-time 4A All-Region selection and was named Varsity Attacking Player of the Year in 2024.

"Abby is an all-around solid player on the ball as well as athletically," said Voltz.  "She is extremely humble and mature but can be lethal all over. Looking forward to her contributing as a freshman."

"Ansley is a well-rounded keeper that will immediately compete for playing time," said Voltz.  "She is great in the air and on distribution.  We are looking forward to seeing her compete as a freshman."

On the soccer pitch, she has played for the Atlanta Fire United ECNL club team, helping lead them to back-to-back appearances in the Champions League ECNL playoffs.  The 5-foot-11 keeper was recognized as a TDS club standout and player to watch on multiple occasions.
