Sophomore Reagan Roberts scored the Bulldogs' first goal of the season for the second consecutive year, while freshman Izzy Wilson recorded her first career assist in her collegiate debut.
The Lions (0-1-0) enter Sunday's contest after falling 4-1 to UL-Lafayette in their season opener at home on Thursday. Anna Claire Schwing scored the Lions' lone goal, while Southeastern finished with 11 shots and six shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Kendall Curran, who recorded 94 saves last season, did not record a save in the match despite facing 12 total shots.
Sunday marks the eighth meeting between the in-state programs, with Louisiana Tech holding a 4-3 advantage in the all-time series. The Lions won the most recent matchup, a 2-1 victory in Ruston in 2021, yet the 'Dogs hold a 2-1 advantage over the Lions when playing on their home pitch.
