Mackenzie Lorkowski won Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week for her performance at HCU and SFA. Against the Huskies, the freshman had a career-high 12 saves, and recorded her first career clean sheet with a 1-0 victory. Facing the Ladyjacks, Lorkowski recorded nine saves and a 3-1 win.
The most recent matchup between the Bulldogs and Cowgirls was in 2025, a 1-1 tie. The one Tech goal came from Hanton, assisted by Pensom. Tech leads the series 4-1 when playing in Ruston.
McNeese enters this game with a 3-3 record. They are coming off a three-game losing streak, where they were outscored 4-11 by their opponents. Rhiannon Maynes-Tourond and Isabella Baltov are leading the Cowgirls with goals this season, each having two.
